I'm a Computer Science graduate from Manipal Institute of Technology. My academic journey was enriched by a minor in Big Data Analytics, which deepened my understanding of Artificial Intelligence and data-driven solutions.
The most exhilarating part of my college experience was my involvement with the Mars Rover Manipal team during my initial two years. It was a transformative experience where I contributed to the development of autonomous algorithms for various robotic systems. My responsibilities included creating algorithms for obstacle avoidance, navigation search strategies, and object detection. This hands-on experience instilled problem-solving skills and honed my technical prowess. I kicked off my professional career with a dynamic startup called FastHr.ai and later embarked on a comprehensive six-month internship at Amazon. These experiences further expanded my skill set and provided insights into the corporate landscape.
Currently, I'm working at Amazon as a full-time software engineer, working on a variety of projects that continually challenge and inspire me. This role was offered to me in May 2024 as a return offer after my internship. It came right after a brief but fulfilling stint with Akamai Technologies.
Beyond my professional endeavors, I enjoy swimming and playing badminton. I also really enjoy watching cricket with my dad. I'm an avid reader and one may often find me curled up in a corner immersed in a book. Another significant part of my life is music, having devoted a decade to training in Hindustani Classical Music.
As a woman in tech, I'm committed to breaking the glass ceiling in this male-dominated field. - Enhanced alert efficacy by recalibrating parameters for two critical applications, identifying and rectifying an error misreporting issue, which notably reduced noise levels by 90% and bolstered system responsiveness.

- Spearheaded the successful integration of Pix payment method for Amazon subscriptions in Brazil, showcasing proficiency in SpringBoot. Pix will be the main driver for attracting up to 2 million new customers and generating a revenue of $72 million.
- Executed a robust testing strategy, with comprehensive unit and integration tests, ensuring end-to-end functionality and an enhanced customer experience. Also successfully executed 2 A/B tests by closely monitoring failure metrics.
- Collaborated across 3 cross-functional teams to meet all technical and business requirements.
- Deployed an AWS based SonarQube instance and integrated it with the code review workflow using Python and Bash scripting. The system detected 48,000+ code issues and improved code quality and review efficiency.
- Orchestrated real-time log analysis for our API service using Guice and SpringBoot to enable efficient debugging, resulting in a 90% decrease in the time taken for root cause analysis of issues for our team as well as client teams.
- Integrated AWS CloudWatch RUM in our application with SpringBoot and JSP for client-side metrics, resulting in the resolution of 80% of previously unsolvable client-side issues along with providing valuable insights about the customers.

- Engineered an internal tool utilizing HTML, JQuery, and Google Apps Script that resulted in a 70% decrease in invoice processing time. Generated digitally signed invoice PDFs, complete with secure digital signatures, dates, and unique IDs.
- Collaborated on backend development of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) powered by Node.js, Express, and MongoDB which boosted recruiter productivity by 30%. Contributed to the design and implementation of RESTful APIs and also integrated Sarv's third-party API, enabling seamless communication between recruiters and candidates.
